Our first official was a garage sale, but it wasn't that "major." The first "major" fund raiser involves a parternship we are trying to establish with www.147millionorphans.com to sell their gear, which emphasizes global orphan care. For each item that we sell to our family and friends, we will make a small profit of approximately $10 per item. Please rest assured that 100 percent of our profits made selling their items will be used toward our orphan rescue fund.
If you feel led to assist our family in the process of rescuing orphans in their distress, this can be one way you can help out, as your merchandise purchases will directly help fund our trip to Colombia in the future.
We have been experimenting with adding pictures to our blog picture of the orphan-related merchandise, but the prices have not been finalized yet. Edna is still "negotiating" with the powers-that-be at 147millionorphans to come up with our price and then the sale price. As soon as we hear from the gals at 147 million orphans, we will get all the merchandise pictured with the correct prices.
