On December 24, 2010, we sent all the paperwork for our dossier to the Country of Colombia. Three months later, at the end of March 2011, we learned from our social worker that we had been accepted by Colombia. The wait begins!

We just finished the process of having our home study updated, which has to be done every 15 months. Yes, it has been that long, but we continue to wait, mostly with patience. Our local social worker, Whitney, was at our house about a week ago for an updated home visit and things went well with that. She is very easy to work with, and she has personally experienced at least two international adoptions in her own family from China and one other country.
Please continue to pray with us that we would be able to go to Colombia and rescue two orphan boys in God's perfect time.
