Well, it's been a long day. Mark got up early to start the fire for the outdoor easter sunrise service at church. The flames were going at 5:50 am (yawn). Our family then attended Sunday School and worship this morning, and were blessed by the services. The singing was great, as was the preaching. Very anointed worship hour.
We then went out to eat as a family. After lunch, we came home and did some chores, and then went to a family picnic at Jackson Falls in the Shawnee National Forest. The girls loved playing in the water, and we had a great time. The scenery at that place is just awesome. The falls were still running strong, even though we haven't had rain in a few days.
Then we all came home and collapsed after a long day. We are thankful for the gift of adoption and for an empty tomb!!! Christians are the only souls who can worship a risen Savior.
Oh, by the way, our second adoption garage sale netted around $266, which will help defray the cost of some of our adoption expenses. Thanks to all those who donated food, time, and money to a worthy cause.
We are so encouraged by the Bundren family! Our Father is getting MUCH glory out of you. Stay the course!
ReplyDeleteBTW...That picture of Jackson Falls is beautiful!
